Kevin's Eagle project - Cell phone recycling

Well Kevin was doing his Eagle scout project recently. His project was to raise awareness about the dangers cell phones cause when they get thrown in landfills. So he's also collecting cell phones from people to recycle. Because he's raising awareness, we decided to let him use this blog to post pictures from his drive he had a the local grocery store one Saturday.

Kevin getting people's attention as they walk in the store.

Kevin and his sister Elena at the booth. She was a HUGE help and loved to approach people and tell them what her brother was doing.

Some of the emergency vehicles they had at the fair.

Kevin setting up the booth. We had a GREAT location. Everyone entering the store or the fair could see our posters.

Kevin setting up again.

Kevin and Tanner chilling at the booth during the fair.

Tanner manning the booth while Kevin circulates to talk to people.

Kevin, you did a great job collecting phones for your eagle project. Your awareness campaign is certainly needed and your booth looks so nicely organized. I can see that Elena would be a big help too. I hope you did well in your eagle review today.
