Springtime beauties!

I couldn't resist this picture. Which is more beautiful, the flowers or the child? Not hard to guess MY response.

Hanging out with Dad again!

Well Elisa snapped a few shots of Elizabeth and I playing soccer (well... just kicking a ball) and said, "Here! This is BLOG material." You know what? She was right. I was just kicking back after trimming the bushes by playing with my youngest child.

Soccer!

Here is a picture of Andrea in a recent soccer game. She really likes to play and is learning a lot.

Not to leave Kevin out, here he is refereeing soccer game of Elena's team. He likes to referee and likes more to get money doing it.

Hanging out with Dad

This Friday, Elisa will have a night out with the girls, so Dad will hang with the kids. I look forward to that time with my kids. We usually have lots of fun. This picture was taken the last time we were hanging out together.

Plague of pollen!

I'll just indulge a bit in whining about the pollen problem we have here. Normal pollen counts are in the 50's. High counts are in the 120 range. Today, the pollen count is 5200. The count of pine tree pollen alone is 2900. It doesn't matter if you live by pine trees or not (and we do), the yellow pine pollen gets everywhere and this year is worse than any other I can remember. I ran my car through a rinse yesterday and find this in the morning. Sweeping, washing, cleaning doesn't matter. Everything comes up yellow. I can't wait for the pine trees to finish their thing.

There. Whining complete.

More Elizabeth

Well since I can't send more than one picture from my cell phone to a single blog post, and I wanted to send two pictures with the last, I'll just make a new post for this one.

Andrea too!

Andrea didn't want to be left out of the shoe thing either, so here's one of her too.

Elizabeth in flip-flops

Our little Elizabeth has a passion for shoes and always like to try on everyone else's. She put on Elisa's flip-flops and it was so cute we wanted to post a picture here.

Kevin learning first aid.

Kevin attended an all day merit badge college. He learned all the basics about first aid including how to make a stretcher and haul people away. He did really well and earned the badge. Good job Kevin!

Testing a post from my phone

Since you are supposed to be able to post from a phone, I thought I'd try it. This is my phone wallpaper right now. It's when I took kevin and his buddy JB (with his dad too) to a Braves game. We got front row seats on the third base side.

Dinner at Little Tokyo!

Grandpa and Grandma took us all out to a Japanese restaurant here in town the night before they went back to Utah. We are all sad they are gone (and miss Marci and her Star Wars marathons) but we sure had a fun time at the restaurant. Every one of the kids was captivated by the chef cooking our food right in front of us, but Andrea and Elizabeth were a little scared by the flames when they got hot. I'm sorry about the quality of images, but that was the best I could do with my cell phone camera in a dark restaurant.

Look at Elizabeth, so cute just enjoying the yummy soup. She also really loved the fried rice.

Elena using chopsticks.

Kevin with chopsticks.

Kisses for Grandpa!

Plenty to take home!

Totally unprompted, Elizabeth put the napkin over her head and said "look Mommy, I'm Barbie!" I had to snap a picture of it.

Family picture

We took a family picture in December during our Christmas trip to Utah. Have a look!

Elena's birthday party

Elena had her 8th birthday party yesterday. She had 5 friends over for games and cake. Grandma and Elisa decorated the house for the party. Uncle Mike and Tia Irene showed up right as the party was about to start (they drove from Arkansas for the weekend).

A picture of Andrea and her buddy Sarah Smith at the party. Aren't they just adorable?

All the girls at Elena's birthday party yesterday.

Elizabeth dressed up as Cinderella.

Tia Irene is sooooo cute with her youngest niece Elizabeth. Look at her here.

A video of Elena blowing out candles.

A video of Tia Irene with her niece. Don't you think Irene needs one of these of her own??

Elena's baptism

Today was Elena's baptism. We had Grandma and Grandpa and AUnt Marci there. Tia Irene and Uncle Mike also drove in from Little Rock, AK.

Elizabeth was really cute at the baptism. At 2 years old she was chattering away and eating cookies with pink frosting. We had to snap this shot.
