Sand construction

Kevin and Elizabeth were so cute today working on a sand structure
together. They were building a lake with a river and a dam to go with
it. It was so cute watching them work together and get excited about
their work.

This is a picture of our three oldest kids playing in the lake. Even
though you can't tell who they are, I thought the picture was so cool
that I had to post it.

Elisa drew Elizabeth's name in the sand and she liked it so much we
took a picture to remember it by.

Vacation at last

Well we moved across the country and arrived Friday morning. We have
stored all our stuff because we have nowhere to live yet. At least not
till we sell our home.

Anyway, my brother gave us three days in this condo as a vacation. It
is really nice to rest from our move. This is the view from our balcony.

Vacation at Bear Lake

Well we just moved across the country. Although we don't have a house
yet (cause we are waiting for our house to sell) we are through with
the long drive.

My brother gave us the use of three days of his time share at Bear
Lake. It is really nice to be able to relax and have nothing to do.

Birthday gift from Elena

Elena also wrote me a story for my birthday. I had to post it too. All my kids dogpiled me in bed this morning, which is the only thing I requested. Elizabeth is making me a cake (with help). Kevin orchestrated the dogpile.

Birthday gift from Andrea

Well it's my birthday again. I don't usually like to make a big deal
out of it but the kids do.

So Andrea made me this card and it was so cute I had to post it. Kudos
to anyone able to read it. We were, but you kind of gotta divide the
card in half.

Stone Mountain

This image of Robert E Lee is carved into the mountain. They say two
buses can fit on the rump of the horse.

It was wall to wall people there.

4th of July at Stone Mountain

This year we finally decided to go see the fireworks at Stone
Mountain. We just got in before they shut down the park. Over 250,000
people came for the fireworks and laser show.
