Texas barbeque

We had lunch at this Texas barbeque place. It was really good. Kevin and I are having a really great trip.

Meeting the players

Also at the fireside, Kevin got to meet star tight end Dennis Pitta and get a picture taken with him. Later, we went outside where it was too dark for my flashless iPhone camera to take clear pictures. But he met Max Hall and got his autograph. Then he met Sister Mendenhall (coach's wife). She was so impressed about him earning his Eagle award that she ran over to her husband the coach and grabbed him by the elbow to break him free and introduced him to Kevin. Kevin was thrilled!

Great fireside

We went to thus fireside put on by the BYU football team the night before their big game. Kevin was soooooo stoked about this. We met Offensive Coordinator Robert Anae and Kevin got his picture taken. He was pretty happy.

He got his way

I finally gave in and agreed to take Kevin here before the big game. But only after I found a sweet discount deal online and Kevin agreed to pay for the parking. The upside -- it's located right down the street from Cowboy's Stadium. About a mile's walk. Meaning we could park there and do both things without having double parking charges.

Scooby Doo

Kevin's making me put this disclaimer. This picture was taken for his sister Lizzie. But I can tell you that Kevin still does like Scooby Doo. But I had to tell him the picture was for Elizabeth to get him to stand next to the actor.

Kevin posed at the entrance to this strange coaster. It was like a giant tube with no tracks once you got up to the top.

Kevin at Six Flags

I took this shot of Kevin as we were getting ready to board the Titan. It's this really huge coaster that we liked best of all. Although I admit I was a little woozie after the ride and had to sit down for awhile. That never used to happen....
