Night in Paris

I took this video at the start of my cruise on the Seine river in Paris. It's night, so the iPhone video isn't quite as sharp, but it's still worth a look.

This one is a little better of the cruise taken from my friend and co-worker, Dale Cressman's Mino camera he loaned me.

And this one is of the Eiffel Tower at night. Words can't explain... see if you can catch the moon coming out from behind the tower at the end of the video.

And finally, from my iPhone again, the tower sparkling at night.

Night cruise on the river in Paris

OK. So the iPhone doesn't do so well in low light situations. Shoot me. It's all I had. But the city is still gorgeous. I decided to get away from the UNESCO archives for an evening (actually they closed on me, kicking me out for the weekend). All that paper digging was wearing on me. I booked a dinner on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower with a window looking over the city. Then I went on a night cruise on the Seine river. Great experience I'll never forget. Only wish Elisa could have been there to share this with me. Sorry for some of the poor quality on photos.

Who loves me?

I did a father's interview with my kids yesterday. Elizabeth and I decided to have a little fun and record part of the interview. This was totally impromptu and really shows Elizabeth's personality. Those that know us will get a kick out of watching this video.

Swimming fun

More video of Kevin and Elizabeth playing in the pool at Irene's townhouse community. It was really cute, so I posted it.

Water slide fun

I took this video of the girls at a waterslide park. Thought it was cute so I will post it.

Water slide fun

So Kevin was off boating with the youth this weekend and we decided to have some fun at a small waterpark with the girls. we brought my sister Marci along and had a blast. This was the girls' favorite part - the bounce house water slide. they really had fun!

Cold water check!

So the scouts had to jump into the cold lake the first day at camp for a cold water check. It's sort of a tradition. But this water was 40 degrees (4 degrees Celsius) Below you can see their reactions in picture and video.

Scout Camp

So last week I went to scout camp with the scouts from my troop. We went to Camp Steiner, which is at 10,400 feet above sea level. It was absolutely gorgeous, as you can see. It was also quite cold at night (in the upper 30's) and it rained the last three days in the afternoon/evening. We even had snow still in our campsite, as you can see from the pictures.

We also went rock climbing. These pictures show some of my scouts and the cliffs we climbed and repelled on.
