Felíz Cumpleaños Amaya y Abuela

Well, the girls had a mother-daughter activity at church today. As part of the activity, they had a fashion show and the girls went dressed in cute dresses. We took these pictures.

Cross Stitching with Mom

This is a true blog moment. I snapped this picture of Elisa and Elena doing a cross stitch together. This project was started by Grandma when she was here for Elena's baptism and Mother and daughter have enjoyed working on it together - though some moments have been more enjoyable than others!

Star Goal Keeper!

Kevin is the starting goalkeeper for his elite soccer team. We had two games today and I was able to snap off a few shots of him making saves. This first one, I thought, was a REALLY good shot of a save he made in the first game.
This shot was of Kevin punching over the net a shot from the corner.

Operation: Remove Trees

Well we had two dead pine trees in our yard that needed to be removed. So we thought we'd post a few pictures of the major event. They had to bring a 70 foot bucket truck into our yard that still didn't reach the top of the trees. They would cut down the branches and feed them into a machine that ground them up into wood chips and shot them into the back of a truck. We had five dead or diseased trees cut down in that day.

Here he is! Our kids get their pictures taken every year at school. Kevin's were particularly good this year, so Elisa and I decided to put it up on the blog for all our loved ones to enjoy. He's really growing up!

Gunfight!

Elena and Kevin got into a Nerf dart gun fight the other day. Elena had to hide to "ambush" her older brother and found refuge in the laundry basket at the bottom of the small closet. It was so cute, I had to snap a picture and post it. Here she is aiming to shoot whoever opens the door. In fact, the one opening the door got immediately shot.
